We saw the need for an online business directory for Southwest Kansas businesses, but not everyone shared our vision. We put over 9,000 businesses in our directory and promoted it to about 20% of them. Those businesses in the largest counties.
And yet, less than 20 people 'claimed' their businesses and not a single one opted for enhanced listings.
With the site getting a dismal amount of monthly traffic we decided it's time to close the doors.
Everything has been archived and will be stored indefinitely.
Will we come back online someday? Possibly, but it's not likely to happen this year.
If you are a southwest Kansas business you should have an online presence of some sort, even if it's as simple as a Google Places listing.
